With that being said I think it is stupid and wrong that peeps can just walk up and take someoneÆs ore just because they got a wild hair up their buttocks.

So here is my solution.

Allow peeps to use jet cans like they can now, however, allow them to add names of peeps who can either add to or take away from that can without getting flagged.
Then anyone who tries to open that can will get a warning similar to what is mentioned below.
ôDANGER you are not authorized to remove any items from this can. Doing so can cause you immediate harm. The person this can belongs to will have the right to send you to your clone. If you remove items from this can you are agreeing to the risks involved.
PS. If you have another ship hidden in a station or out in space, Concord will be notified and you will be flagged for 15minutes, and both your ships will be targeted for destruction.

Now this solves two problems at once.

a- It allows miners to defend themselves, while at the same time allowing ore thieves the chance to get away.
b- It protects friendly peeps from accidentally getting shot at by Concord for jumping in another ship after they lost their gang status, and it also helps prevent griefers from exploiting yet another oversight by CCP.

Everyone gets what he or she wants, yet everyone can still be upset at the same timeà And, all of it is done, without changing the game in such a dramatic way.

I remember the first person who stole from me when I was noob. I still want to kill that SOB, but he is in an Alliance I am friendly towards so until he changes, he gets a pass. He flies in .0 space so he is fair game at any time. Yes I still want to kill him }:-)~ (Revenge really is better served cold)

Be that as it may be. CCP, what is mentioned above is already in game in other areas. Hell a simple hotfix will solve the problem and make the game funnier and worse for everyone involved.
